I whakapapa into Rangitepaia, Hineaute, Rangiaranaki, and Ngāti Tauira.

I have been a Rangitāne o Manawatū Treaty Negotiator since 1997, and Principal Negotiator since 2007. The path was clear, to restore the mana and tino rangatiratanga of Rangitāne o Manawatū. I have an intricate knowledge of the Settlement and will contribute effectively in settlement implementation.

I am dedicated to the betterment of Rangitāne o Manawatū, as Chief Executive of Tanenuiarangi Manawatū Incorporated Rōpu, which includes Kia Ora FM 89.8, Best Care (Whakapai Hauora), and Rangitāne o Manawatū Māori Womens Welfare League. I have experience in Law, Banking, Finance, Resource Management, Strategic Planning, Corporate Restructuring, Iwi Development and Leadership.

I Chair Te Tihi o Rauhine Whānau Ora Alliance, a Smoking Cessation Collective and am a Trustee on Central Primary Health Organisation.
