Rangitāne o Manawatū Settlement Trust (RoMST) is the post-settlement governance entity for Rangitāne o Manawatū and the recognised iwi authority for the Rangitāne area of interest.

RoMST holds statutory acknowledgements under the Rangitāne o Manawatū Claims Settlement Act 2016, and is actively engaged in matters under the Resource Management Act 1991 and other relevant legislation.

The Trust represents the interests of 6 Rangitāne hapū and should be consulted on matters affecting natural resources, planning, cultural heritage, and the exercise of kaitiakitanga.
