TAIAO

As the PSGE for Rangitāne o Manawatū, we are the kaitiaki and owners of multiple large properties across the Manawatū region, and act as cultural consultants for RMA work in our areas of interest.

Our stewardship of the environment is deeply important to us and forms a core part of our mahi, to protect and conserve the lands for future generations to enjoy.

pest management

We support the protection and restoration of our local taiao through coordinated pest control and monitoring across whenua and waterways. This mahi helps strengthen native biodiversity and safeguard culturally significant species.

rma & cultural advisory

We engage with Resource Management Act processes to ensure iwi values and environmental interests are represented in planning, consent, and development decisions. Our role is to advocate for outcomes that protect taiao and uphold our responsibilities as kaitiaki.

rangatahi hunting

We provide opportunities for rangatahi to learn safe and responsible hunting practices while connecting with the ngahere. These experiences build skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of tikanga and kaitiakitanga.
