Pou Turangawaewae

Every step on our whenua strengthens our tūrangawaewae. This past financial year, we progressed the Kikiwhenua process with PNCC and RACE, and advanced Te Uru Karaka with Massey University. Whānau were taken onto wāhi tapu and cultural properties for wānanga and harvesting – strengthening whakapapa knowledge, transferring skills, and keeping our people connected to place. Kaupapa highlight: The haerenga to Te Ahu a Turanga with Toi Warbrick deepened whānau connection to whenua and whakapapa.
